What is the deadline to apply?

Special annual awards will be presented to businesses that display outstanding efforts in their green business practices. Awards will be based on efforts made prior to March, 2009.

What is the cost to apply?

There is no cost to apply.

What if we made changes more than a year ago?

Recognition is based on efforts made any time during the 12 months prior to the application deadline.

Who makes the determination for recognition and awards?

A committee formed by the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce will review applications and determine recognition and awards.

Who can apply?

Businesses and other organizations located in Thurston County* may apply for recognition as a Thurston Green Business.

*Businesses and other organizations located that are Thurston County Chamber members located outside of Thurston County are eligible for Green Business designation, but not special recognition awards.
